Project Description

“We Are from Donetsk Region” is a multimedia project aimed at supporting local communities by strengthening mutual understanding, trust, and social cohesion between internally displaced persons from Donetsk Region and the communities hosting them. The project is implemented by the media outlet 6262.com.ua in partnership with NGO “PLATFORM OF INITIATIVES TEPLYCYA” and is based on an approach of humane, reliable, and inclusive storytelling.

At the heart of the project are real stories of women, young people, and other IDPs from Donetsk Region who have managed to adapt, find new opportunities, become involved in community life, and maintain an active civic stance. Through video stories and written materials, the project highlights not only the challenges of displacement, but also examples of resilience, mutual support, and participation in the country’s recovery.
